Water and Sewer Line
Did you know that most home insurance policies DO NOT cover repairs for underground water and sewer pipes leading to the street? With a Zero Deductible, you can get peace of mind with Water Line or Sewer Line Coverage.
WHAT IS WATER LINE COVERAGE?
You will be covered for up to $5,000 for each service call, $5,000 aggregate (maximum) per year. This includes the cost of repairs or replacement of a broken or leaking water service line between the meter or property line and the home. In addition, your coverage includes all service call charges, materials and labor for the covered work.
The National Water Company provides resources and diagrams outlining the uses and benefits of this coverage.
WHAT IS SEWER LINE COVERAGE?
You will be covered for up to $5,000 for each service call, $5,000 aggregate (maximum) per year. This includes the cost of repairs, or replacement of a broken or sewer service line between the meter or property line and the home. In addition, your coverage includes all service call charges, materials and labor for the covered work.
DOES MY HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE POLICY OR LOCAL UTILITY COVER THIS?
Traditional home insurance policies generally exclude the repair of underground water and sewer service lines. You should check with your Agent and your local utility rules, but you will almost certainly discover that all repairs on your property are your responsibility.
