“Fill The Sleigh” Community Christmas
Hosted by Spokhands Foundation and North Town Insurance.
This event and day turned out so great and went so smooth and that is all because of the volunteers, businesses and community members who participated with us! We met so many new faces that are now friends and a part of the Spokhands Foundation family!
After about a month of planning and collecting donations from all of our business drop off locations, Tony Williams and Angela Routt, founders of Spokhands, and North Town Insurance held a community-wide breakfast on Christmas morning for people who may not have received a holiday meal.
Our community event was able to feed 250-300 people and collected 1,923 gifts. We are truly speechless. We almost doubled our goal and we are truly grateful for the stories and the outpouring of love from our community.
“When it comes to fruition, and you see the smiles on the faces and the gratitude, it makes everything worth it. I wouldn’t be anywhere else on this Christmas morning,” said Aaron LeBlanc, one of the agents at North Town Insurance.
Thank you all for your hard work and we cannot wait to make this an #NTI tradition.
